Scott County

Location & Access

Scott County is located 25 miles southwest of Minneapolis, just south of Bloomington and Eden Prairie. The Minnesota River defines its northwestern border, with Highway 169 generally following the river and providing access to agricultural regions to the south and west. Interstate 35W parallels its eastern border, connecting the county to the urban core and the rest of the state.

Scott County is a mix of rural and suburban areas and covers 365 square miles. With the completion of Highway 169 bridge over the Minnesota River, it has become a convenient location for business expansion. It offers a large supply of industrial land available for development.
